Freshies

who ever thought of this nick. sounds like a really fun version of freshmen: shake-n-bake style. but i guess, who'd put so much effort into such an insignificant utterence.

well, finally pulled out the discipline to write here. takes a lot ya noe. esp now since there's so many things going on. ie the enrolment and freshmen bbq. spendin a lot of time calling, thinking, and praying for all the freshmen coming to sp.

while all these things are going on, i wanna finnish ff7! yes, i'm playing the timeless legend, in all it's polygon-istic glory! ha! actually i'm playing it so i can understand the storyline so that when Final Fantasy 7: Advent Children comes out, i'll be able to follow it. hurry squaresoft, release it already!

i'm pretty pumped up now, after such a super bbq briefing day. wow, the freshmen were great man. after awhile it'll be weird calling them freshmen since they're like friends=) (calling them by the 'freshie' alias opens up a certain kind of seniority-related gap).

even after the briefing, some of them followed us all the way to the crusade room. we had some meeting for the bbq. after a while some left. but when we came out of the meeting, after 3 hours! there were two still left! ha, so happy. they even follow us to clementi to eat=) really thank God for the reporre that we could never have built without His help.

hwoo, then tmr haf to discuss with angela wad to say to intro the freshpeople during the bbq. then meeting nat and ts for dinner at jack's place.

oh dang, wanna play ff7 now, but i can't stop now! ha, will continue to write a bit.

toking about Jack, yea, the aussie team is doing God's work now down under. Jack actually called to say tt he got back pain that is from last time one, and need prayer. quite serious, twas affecting his movement. anyway, after like 2 days, he call me then it went something to the effect of:

"..oh Tim ah, have you guys been praying for me?"
"Yup, of cos la, why?"
"You know my back is much better oredi leh, it's not affecting me anymore"

was realli excited after that. praise God. he juz called, then he said that it's is nearly completely healed.

anyway, now we've gotta keep lena in prayer, she has gastric, it's pretty bad. The team is also inviting ppl to their place tmr. they're gonna have pizza and a movie. the movie's english soundtrack is so soft, but the other languages are okay. ha, now we're praying for God to tell them whether to screen it in english or chinese.

wow, many things happening. but so glad that it's for a purpose. they're not juz happenings that come all at the same time and POOF the next, but for a purpose=) reminds me of the 2nd illustration in the What you see is not what you get booklet. Fantastic=)
